Welcome

“Happiness is not a matter of intensity, but of balance, order, rhythm, and harmony.”

THOMAS MERTON

I am a counselor, coach, and collaborative participant in the lives of people who seek out my help. I specialize in working with people who have had life experiences that have affected them negatively. We call this trauma.

In addition to trauma therapy, I help to balance the brain and central nervous system by using the cutting edge natural techniques of qEEG brain mapping, Pulsed electromagnetic frequencies (pEMF), Heart Rate Variability, and Neurofeedback.

I am licensed as a psychotherapist (lic.# MFC43707) in private practice with an office in Los Angeles, Ca (near Santa Monica/ Brentwood). I focus primarily on individuals (and their families) with particular emphasis on living a life with brain, body and mind balance.

A traumatic event can involve a single experience, or enduring repeated events, that overwhelm the individual’s ability to cope or integrate the ideas and emotions involved in that experience. Often trauma can be an absence of connection with primary people in one’s life.

I choose to work as a trauma specialist in order to reduce or possibly ameliorate the life symptoms that traumatizing events leave behind. We all have experienced some form of trauma in our lives, whether it be the mean kids at school, or the PTSD from war or sexual abuse, we want those symptoms to go away. I believe this is the most effective way to do that and to help people to feel free to live the lives they chose as adults, unencumbered by unwanted symptoms.
